Course Overview

One Program = Basic Chinese + Fashion Chinese + Culture Course

Through this integrated program, learners can improve their language skills, cultural understanding, and fashion awareness in one complete learning experience.

This course is designed for learners who wish to study Chinese Language while gaining a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture and contemporary fashion. Differing from general Chinese language courses offered by other universities, Shanghai International Fashion Education Center (SIFEC) draws on its strong fashion industry background to offer a distinctive 「Fashion Chinese」 module, allowing students to naturally acquire commonly used terminology and expressions from the fashion industry while learning the language; The 「Culture Course」 module builds on traditional Chinese arts such as calligraphy and painting, while also incorporating textile- and fashion-themed handicraft activities that reflect SIFEC’s distinctive educational approach.

Course Module Information:


Basic Chinese
Frequency: 3 times per week
Content: HSK + Oral Chinese

Fashion Chinese
Frequency: Once every 2 weeks
Content: Chinese with Fashion Terminology

Culture
Frequency: Once every 2 weeks
Content: Calligraphy, painting, tie-dye, knotting, hanfu making, etc.
Note: The tuition is an annual package price for all three modules. Culture courses include material costs.

Fashion Chinese and Culture Course alternate weekly. Total 4 sessions/week(3 Basic Chinese +1 alternating session), with each session lasting 2 hours.
